About

Crafting a kinder world for long dogs

Greyhounds are often mischaracterised as aggressive, muzzled dogs who need a lot of exercise – but in reality, their gentle, adaptable natures make them wonderful companions for all ages! They're mostly calm, quiet, and surprisingly lazy (in the best way) and they earn the nickname of “world’s fastest couch potato” for a reason – often napping for 18+ hours a day.

The reality for greyhounds

Greyhounds are gentle, sensitive, and deeply loving dogs — but when they’re treated as commodities for dog racing, their welfare suffers. As the rest of the world moves away from dog racing, Australia continues to breed greyhounds at an unsustainable rate, leaving many without safe homes. Rescues are chronically under-resourced and in need of support, with volunteers working tirelessly to transition dogs into family life. Once people meet a greyhound, they almost always fall in love with their quirks, but many people never get the chance – so that's exactly what we're here to change!

Our impact

We're spreading awareness for greyhound adoption on social media, plus we donate a dollar from every item sold in our store to an organisation that rescues and rehomes greyhounds. Right now, we're fundraising for our friends at Amazing GreysGreyt Greys Rescue & Gumtree Greys – all volunteer-run organisations in Victoria.
