We share events for long dogs (greyhounds and other sighthounds) as well as events that directly support rescue dogs in Australia.
We want to connect dog lovers with more opportunities to enjoy the company of greyhounds outside of a racing context. Our goal is to keep the community connected, and we hope that it will encourage people to adopt greyhounds or socialise their sighthounds with other likeminded people.

Volunteers manage the national greyhound events calendar, including Chilli the Greyhound and his mum, Kayley. We lean on the community to let us know when events are happening & update us as details change.
We're not affiliated with the organisers of events posted unless specified. We just want to give people more opportunities to enjoy the company of long dogs.
We’re passionate about giving people options to engage with greyhounds outside of a racing environment. Long Dog Club does not support the commercial dog racing industry in Australia so no racing events or organisations directly associated with the industry will be published. However, we may make exceptions for events we feel are strictly in the best interests of the dogs – for example, rehoming events like adoption days.
