The map is interactive, with each pin representing an adoption organisation or rescue that rehomes greyhounds in Australia. Click any pin or card to find out more – including website links, social media profiles, and direct donation links.

This rehoming map is an independent project by Long Dog Club using public information. We've been inspired to do what we can for rescue greyhounds after the adoption of our own boy (and Club President!) Chilli the Greyhound.

Can you help me adopt a greyhound?

No, we can't. Long Dog Club is not a rehoming charity or adoption agency and we don't directly rehome greyhounds. We’ve created this independent resource to make finding a greyhound to adopt a little easier. As information can change, please confirm details directly with the relevant adoption groups and do your own due diligence before adopting.
How do I submit edits or feedback?

This map is a work in progress, so we welcome updates and any feedback you have for us. Email hello@longdogclub.com.au to request an edit, amendment or addition to a listing on our rehoming map. Visit our policy for more information.

Are industry programs included?

Yes. Our map is designed to help people understand the different greyhound adoption pathways available, including community-run rescues and programs operated by the racing industry.

We believe every greyhound deserves the opportunity to find a safe, loving home, while adopters also deserve clear information about the organisations they choose to support. That’s why industry-operated programs are clearly identified and differentiated from community-run rescues, allowing people to make an informed choice that aligns with their values.
